The Una Hotel Palace is a historical building dating back to the early 1900s situated in the centre of Catania, three kilometres from the beach. The 94 air conditioned guestrooms have modern decor in a style reminiscent of the ancient Sicilian Baroque. All guestrooms extend to balconies and provide such comforts as climate control, coffee and tea making facilities, minibars and satellite television with pay movies; bathrooms include showers and bath tubs, bathrobes, telephones, toiletries and hair dryers.
In the Una Restaurant guests can enjoy Sicilian and international cuisine in a relaxed setting. Guests can dine on the top floor roof garden, which has spectacular views of the city and mountains. Guests can relax with a cocktail in the Una Bar, an American Bar with modern decor and music, or take advantage of room service. Guests are also welcome to sit in the pleasant inner courtyard, or watch television in the lobby. For those who like to keep fit, the hotel has a fitness room and guests can unwind in the steam room after a workout. Garage parking is available for those arriving by car, and currency exchange, safe deposit box and dry cleaning services are on offer at the 24 hour front desk. For those interested in sightseeing, high speed Internet access is available for planning an itinerary and the hotel's concierge will be happy to advise on local attractions. There is plenty to see nearby, with archaeological ruins and Baroque palaces, the Bellini Theatre, Manganelli Palace, beaches and a castle all within seven kilometres. Catania Airport is approximately six kilometres and a 10 minute drive from the hotel.

The best way to reach the hotel is by taxi. Taxis are readily available at the airport. From Catania Airport head towards and go through Via Fontanarossa. Enter Catane and continue on the SP70. Leave Catane and continue on the SP70. Go through the Piazza Paolo Borsellino and turn right. Continue on the Circumvallazione di Via Dusmet. Turn left on the Via Cardinale Beato G.B. Dusmet and go through the Piazza dei Martiri. Turn right on the Via Rabbordone. Turn left on the Corso Martiri della Libert�. Turn left on the Via Cosentino. Turn left on the Via Umberto I, then left on the Via Etnea.
