Location. The Hotel Champagne Palace is located in Rome, Italy within 20 metres of restaurants, bars and shops, 600 metres from the Coliseum and three kilometres from St. Peter's Basilica. Stazione Termini, the hub of Rome's public transportation network, is 200 metres away.
Hotel Features. The hotel is located in an eight storey property, accessible by lift, in Rome's historic centre. The decor of the 24 hour reception area is bright with marble flooring and classical ornamentation. There is a television and a fireplace in the lobby where guests are welcome to relax and complimentary newspapers are provided. Multilingual staff are on hand to offer assistance with travel and tourist arrangements.
A complimentary buffet style breakfast is served each morning in the eighth floor breakfast room, which offers panoramic views of the city. The hotel's bar has an intimate atmosphere with dark wood panelling and leather sofas. Within 20 metres of The Hotel Champagne Palace, there is an assortment of restaurants offering a variety of Italian and international dining.
Business facilities include a meeting room and a conference room, with seating for more than 100 people.
Guestrooms. All 78 air conditioned guestrooms have stylish decor with richly coloured fabrics. Rooms are equipped with satellite television, direct dial telephones, writing desks, safes and minibars. Marble bathrooms have a bidet, hair dryer and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. To avoid queues, which can be exceptionally long throughout the year, book tickets for museums and sites online. EU citizens are often entitled to reduced rates or complimentary tickets. Passports or photo driving licences must be produced as evidence.

From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
Distance to The Hotel Champagne Palace is 25 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. Taxis to the city centre cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors.
Driving directions. From Fiumicino Airport, follow the A1 and exit at Eur Roma Centro.
Take the Via Cristoforo Colombo until you reach the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano.
Continue on to Via Gioberti.
