Driving Directions

From Catania Fontanorossa Airport (CTA):
Distance to Des Etrangers Et Miramare is 60 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The number 457 city bus departs every 20 minutes to central Catania. Buses also run directly to Syracuse and Taormina. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost around 25 EUR to Catania, 50 EUR to Syracuse, and 100 EUR to Taormina. Trains run from Catania to Siracusa central railway station. The Citybus 457 runs from the airport to Siracusa city centre every hour. The hotel offers airport transportation for a surcharge. Taxis Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Des Etrangers Et Miramare is on Passeggio Adorno. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas but Syracuse centre can be explored on foot. Onsite parking is available.
