Location. Hotel Residence Torre Artale is housed in a historic baglio in Trabia and situated two kilometres from the beach resort of Termini Imerese. Palermo Airport is 50 kilometres away and takes around 60 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features. Guests are greeted by multilingual staff at a 24 hour front desk. There are two swimming pools, including a separate pool for children, and a poolside bar. A complimentary shuttle service runs daily to San Nicola L'Arena and a private beach, which is open from mid June to mid September. Guests can make use of the solarium, massage treatment room and fitness equipment. Complimentary private parking is available for those arriving by car.
Guests of Torre Artale can dine in Macine/Torchio, a traditional style restaurant extending to a terrace overlooking the sea.
The hotel has four tennis courts, two bowling greens, one football pitch and a mini golf course. Entertainment staff organise a programme of leisure activities from June to September, and there is a mini club for younger guests.
Guestrooms. The 120 apartments are located on two floors, and all feature one, two or three bedrooms, living rooms, kitchenettes with refrigerators, bathrooms and balconies or terraces. Amenities include televisions, telephones, coffee and tea making facilities, linens (changed weekly) and designer toiletries.
Expert Tip. The spectacular Caccamo Castle is situated 15 kilometres south of Trabia, up a winding mountain road. This 12th Century fortress is set upon a steep cliff in a breathtaking location overlooking the scenic San Leonardo River Valley far below. Visitors need to make an appointment with the custodian to see the interior, but such visits can be arranged for groups.

Getting there. Taxis are available at the airport and fares to the hotel cost around 120 EUR. Hotel staff can arrange transport to and from the airport (surcharge). The nearest train station to the hotel is San Nicola, three kilometres away.
Driving directions. From the airport, take the highway in the direction of Palermo. Once in Palermo take highway A19 towards Catania. Exit at Trabia.
